Each day, The Arc Montgomery County directly supports nearly 600 children, youth, adults, seniors and families. We help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve a higher quality of life and sense of belonging within their community.

We provide fully-inclusive child care for children ages six weeks to 10 years with and without developmental disabilities and chronic medical conditions.

We support youth up to age 21 through social and recreational opportunities and provide retail skills training to interested young adults.

We assist adults with work skills training and employment opportunities and encourage and assist them with inclusive community living.

We encourage active retirement lifestyles and help seniors safely remain in their own home by providing respite care.

We offer resources and educational workshops for family members and short-term relief for unpaid family caregivers.

We provide pre-screened and well-qualified work team members to local businesses, supported by on-site support staff as necessary.
