Living the five-star treatment: Pendry Tampa is coming in early 2027 (RENDERINGS)

Imagine enjoying five-star hotel treatment and amenities from the comfort of your own home. Pendry Hotels & Resorts has been able to cultivate such an experience for guests around the world. The Pendry portfolio includes locations in Chicago, San Diego, New York City and Newport Beach.

In early 2027, Pendry, in collaboration with Two Roads Development, will open Pendry Tampa, bringing its acclaimed services to the Tampa Bay area. Pendry Tampa will include 200 condo units as well as 222 hotel rooms. Penthouse designs are currently being finalized.

What makes Pendry unique is the brand’s dedication to excellence and exceeding expectations. Owners can enjoy around the clock, customized care. From housekeeping to room service to travel arrangements, residents are treated as if they are family. Pendry staff will even handle grocery shopping for owners and make sure favorite items are consistently in stock.

Individuals can also rely on Pendry to provide amenities such as a rooftop pool, full-scale spa and a spacious fitness center.

The project is developed to “create great memories and special moments for our guests and residents,” says Tina Necrason, senior vice president, residential of Montage International, Pendry’s parent organization.

Overseeing these occasions is what Pendry does best. Residents can host parties and gatherings in their condos and have Pendry’s world-class chefs prepare themed menus. If residents have guests in town, Pendry’s staff can help create itineraries and book activities such as a golf outing or a spa day.

According to Brad Meltzer, partner and president of Two Roads Development, Pendry Tampa was planned with its residents and guests in mind. “We want our owners to be living in an environment where things have been thought about for them,” he says.

The Pendry and Two Roads Development teams “really thought about every detail”, Meltzer explained. From decor to room square footage, every decision was intentional.

Pendry Tampa will “bring something new to the area that hasn’t been done before,” Necrason elaborated. Residents can “enjoy social aspects and exclusivity” in their home, while living in a luxurious space designed for their convenience.

While Pendry Tampa will incorporate the brand’s California origins, certain experiences such as food, beverages and spa treatments will be locally inspired, Necrason shared. For example, Pendry is currently researching spa signature treatments that are indigenous to the area and Florida. The hotel and condominium’s architecture and decor will also highlight the Tampa Bay region. “We are going to bring Florida to life through design elements,” Meltzer says.

Pendry Tampa, with its immediate access to the Riverwalk, plans to contribute to Tampa’s social scene. Residents, guests and visitors will be able to enjoy two restaurant locations, as well as extensive ballrooms “the likes [of which] downtown Tampa has never seen”, Meltzer says.

Since placing Pendry Tampa’s condos on the market, 60% of the building’s units are close to being sold. They start at $1.7 million, with some condos valued at $4 million, or more.

Pendry’s Tampa location is among other projects for the brand, with resorts being planned in Barbados, Punta Mita and Mexico City. More locations in the United States and Europe are to be revealed in the near future, Necrason shared.

Montage International, Pendry and Two Roads Development’s investment in the Tampa Bay area is a testament to the city’s growth. With the construction of Pendry Tampa, surely more luxurious residential and hotel offerings will follow.
