SLOW COOKER SMOTHERED BEEF TIPS with MUSHROOM and ONION GRAVY
Tender chunks of stew beef are slow cooked in a rich mushroom and onion gravy cooked to tender perfection in the slow cooker. Serve over egg noodles, mashed potatoes or rice for a hassle free meal the whole family will love.
What You Need to Make Slow Cooker Smothered Beef Tips
Stew beef chunks, cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, salt and pepper to taste.
Optional additions, browning beef, mushrooms and red wine – highly recommended!
This recipe is super easy to adapt, which comes in handy if you have picky eaters. If you have time, browning the beef first adds great flavor. I also like to add red wine and mushrooms.
