Begin by setting up your Next.js project with your preferred hosting platform.

Select your hosting service

Start the deployment flow and set up your template repo on Netlify. After you finish set up, come back here and add your Netlify custom domain.

Copy the code from our Git repo to deploy your app on any platform that supports Next.js.

Add the base URL and give your app a name.

# Test Your Blocks App on a Site

When you are ready to test your app, preview it and test it on a site. 

## Step 1 | Preview

Click the ![eye](https://wixmp-833713b177cebf373f611808.wixmp.com/images/creating-and-managing-a-test-version-md_build-apps-portal_develop-your-app_frameworks_blocks_blocks:-deploying-and-managing-apps_images_hide1.png) icon and select **Preview** to preview your app. 

Preview lets you quickly check your design and code. Here's a summary of what you can and cannot check with Preview:

## Step 2 | Test on a site

1. Click the ![eye](https://wixmp-833713b177cebf373f611808.wixmp.com/images/creating-and-managing-a-test-version-md_build-apps-portal_develop-your-app_frameworks_blocks_blocks:-deploying-and-managing-apps_images_hide1.png) icon and select **Test in Editor** to test your app on a site. 
1. Select a site to install your app on, or create a premium development site. Creating a premium development site allows you to test all the premium features of your app. 
1. Test your app as if you were a user. Make sure to follow our [checklist](fallback::https://dev.wix.com/docs/build-apps/develop-your-app/frameworks/wix-blocks/deploy-and-manage-blocks-apps/what-to-check-when-testing), so you don't miss any testing steps. 

## Step 3 | Continuous testing

 When you make more changes in your app and want to test them, there is no need to install it again. Just click **Test in Editor** again, or use the keyboard shortcuts. This creates a new testing version of the app, which updates automatically on the site you installed it on.
