Google Search Console: Excluded (Page With Redirect)

1 min read
If you see a "Page with redirect" message in your Coverage report, it means that Google found a page with a redirected URL on your site and did not index it. Google excludes pages like this from search results to avoid duplicate results or because it has detected errors.

A "Page with redirect" error could be caused by these situations:
  • You upgraded your site. The redirect is from your free Wix URL to your own custom domain URL.
  • You set up 301 redirects for these pages in the URL Redirect Manager.
  • The redirect is from the HTTP version of your site's URL to the HTTPS version.
  • The redirect is from the https://mydomain.com version of your site's URL to the https://www.mydomain.com version.
In these cases, this behavior is normal and won't affect your site's ranking.
