Wix Payments: Creating an Account

Wix Payments lets you accept various payment methods like credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, BNPL and more, directly through your site; all managed from a unified dashboard.
Before you begin:
In order to accept payments on your site you must:
- Have a published site
- Purchase a Premium or Studio site plan that allows you to accept payments
To create a Wix Payments account:
- Go to Accept Payments in your site's dashboard.
- Click Connect next to Wix Payments.
Note: Wix Payments is not yet available to all users.
- Enable the toggles of the payment methods you wish to accept through Wix Payments and click Continue.
- Click Complete Setup.
- Select an option under Business Type:
- Individual/Sole Proprietorship: Select this option if you are doing business as an individual and fill in your personal details, as well as your business description.
- Partnership/Ltd/Liability Co./Corporation/NGO: Select this option if you are doing business as a business and fill in both your business information and your personal details.
- Regional account types: In some countries, other business types may be selected which align with local business definitions.
- Enter your details:
- Identification information
- Address
- Bank details
- Business information
- Business description
- Click the checkbox to accept the Terms & Conditions and service fees.
- Click Submit.
Note:
After submitting your details, you are required to go through a verification process.
