Add your own sample folders to the Browser in Logic Pro for iPad
You can add your own collections of audio samples to the Browser for use in your projects. After you add sample folders, you can search for samples and preview them in the Browser. Similar to samples shown in Samples view, you can drag them to the Tracks area or to sample-based software instrument plug-ins, such as Drum Machine Designer, Quick Sampler, or Sample Alchemy. See Work with samples in the Logic Pro for iPad Browser.
If your samples are organized into multiple nested folders, the file hierarchy is maintained within the Browser. However, it’s possible to “flatten” the folders inside an enclosing folder and view all the samples they contain within a single list. This can be helpful if, for example, you want to quickly audition various kit pieces from a sample pack without having to navigate through multiple folders.
If you want to import other kinds of files into Logic Pro, see Import media.
