Replace a patch on a channel strip using drag and drop in Logic Pro for iPad
You can replace a patch on a Mixer channel strip by dragging a patch from the Browser, similar to replacing a patch on a track. You can replace a patch on an audio or instrument channel strip, as well as on an aux or output channel strip.
When you replace a patch on an audio or software instrument channel strip, the entire patch is loaded, including any send destinations. Send destinations use either the available effect busses of the same category or use the send destination settings from the patch.
When you replace an audio, aux, or output patch on an aux or output channel strip, the primary channel strip setting (.cst) from the patch is loaded on the channel strip, but send destinations from the patch are not loaded.

In Logic Pro, tap the Browser button
to open the Browser.
In the Browser, locate the patch you want to use as the replacement. The patch must be of the appropriate type for the receiving channel strip.
Audio patches can be dragged to audio, aux, or output channel strips.
Instrument patches can be dragged to instrument channel strips.
Aux patches can be dragged to aux or output channel strips.
Output patches can be dragged to aux or output channel strips.
Touch and hold the patch, then drag it to the receiving channel strip.
As you drag over the destination channel strip, a blue outline appears around it, indicating that it is the appropriate type of channel strip for the patch.
