Julz Goddard a.k.a. YesJulz is one of W.A.G.s to Riches’s most over-the-top personalities on the new Netflix reality show. Her strained relationship with her baby’s father has launched some pivotal plot points and tensions with the other women.

YesJulz and Miami Dolphins football player Duke Riley got engaged at Miami’s Rolling Loud Music Festival in July 2021. They later welcomed their first daughter River, together in March 2022. The entertainment CEO worked with Kanye West on his brand Yeezy but was later fired for breaking a non-disclosure agreement on his album Vultures. She’s since posted about her lavish lifestyle and parenting her only daughter. But where’s the father?

Are YesJulz and Duke Riley still together?

YesJulz announced her breakup to the football player in May 2022,  “You are a newly single mom enjoying your first night out in nearly a year after being home alone with your newborn for 2 months.” They kind of reunited at the end of 2023 and beginning of 2024. However, she hinted that she was done with Duke when she posted a photo carousel that included the caption “Single ladies gather here 😊” and a picture of Angel Reese pointing at her empty ring finger in January 2024.

Julz talked about her experiences with abortion on the show when she got pregnant during the grey area of the breakup when she had “dealings with Duke in that time period.” She expressed excitement about her daughter River possibly having a little sibling, but Duke didn’t want to have any more children. “It would be nice if it was from the same father… that is the dream, the goal,” she said on the show. “To have a one-unit family.”

“But this time, he was like, ‘I don’t want another baby’,” she continued about Duke. “So, um, I was just like, ‘OK.’ You know, I didn’t want to have an abortion. But I didn’t want to be a single mom of two, struggling after I just lost my job like trying to figure it out.”

Her abortion was a big plot point when she was invited to a dinner with the rest of the W.A.G.s, but she couldn’t attend. “I was dealing with some traumatic s–t that day,” she said in a confessional. “I wasn’t feeling good. I called and told Sharelle that I didn’t want to come. I told her what was going on. And she was like, ‘I feel you… If you don’t want to come, you don’t have to come. I understand if you’re not feeling good,'” Goddard recalled of their conversation.
