Astrology - August Vibes 2017 - a month that will bring us change...

Welcome August 2017 – strap yourself in, it is going to be a wild ride.  August brings 2 eclipses indicting it is time to change.


  •         The first is a Lunar eclipse in Aquarius for us to close a period… Uranus the planet ruler of Aquarius in modern Astrology goes retrograde this week inviting us to awaken and see where we are stuck in to be able to move on…
  •         The second eclipse is a Solar Eclipse with Sun, Moon and Mars involved in the eclipse in Leo. For us to start a new path bringing our unique light to our society
In between Eclipses Mercury gets close to Earth - turns Retrograde in Virgo for us to digest, crafting our ideas and thoughts.

 Interestingly August is a month with lack of Air…  Being weak in Air element you may have trouble with objectivity and perspective….  and Mars in Leo will be involved in both eclipses… We need to work with anger, frustration and take some time every day to think – walk home or ride a bike to encourage the process of thinking…

Look at the areas where you have Leo or Aquarius in your birth chart to know where to focus the energy… Plus where Mercury in Virgo will be travelling Retrograde for you to craft your Ideas.

New Moon in Leo 🌑♌- July 23 2017 at 7:48 pm AEDT. Sun ☀️and Moon 🌙join @ 1 degree of LEO in company with Mars🔥. A New Moon coloured with stamina & passion.

This New Moon highlights our will to live!!! Follow our heart to create, to love, to do whatever we do!!! Committed - Venus who is the love of Mars and its reason to fight for, is forming an opposition with responsible Saturn, indicating the importance of expressing our true feelings to know who we really can count with and with whom we do not.


Our mind (Mercury in Leo too ) can show us the path we need to walk in order to grow as Mercury is with the North Node of the Moon - the mathematical point where the orbit of the Earth around the Sun and the orbit of the Moon around the Earth cross. It is the energy associated with the learning for this time of evolution.

Last quarter Moon in Aries to reflect + Planets changing to Leo Season... Eclipses for 2017 are coming


Last Quarter Moon Phase in Aries:  We are under the challenge between the Sun in Cancer & the Moon in Aries   inviting us to reflect in connection with our goals and objectives we had planted during the New Moon in Cancer 3 weeks ago… We are now ending a cycle and soon the energy will move to Leo and we need to reassess… But without regrets, just learning the lesson and with acceptance. 

This Last Quarter has a combination of surprises & intensity due to Mars and Uranus’ challenge… We need to remember that the energies might not reflect reality because Mercury and Pluto also are forming a minor hard aspect… indicating we need to take it easy to be able to tune in with our goals align with our deep inner feelings because the Sun and Mars are in the emotional sign of Cancer to balance our feelings with spirit & following our intuition.

Full Moon in Capricorn & the power of transformation to get back our inner strength

We are under the beautiful energy of this illumination of the Full Moon in Capricorn that brings the opportunity to get back to our inner power connecting it with our passion! due to the full Moon link with  Pluto/Mars energies.

Nature is a great example of what it is transformation! The dead leaves from a tree fall becoming the nutrients of the soil to keep the life for the roots of the tree. It is amazing the wisdom of our Mother Earth that sometimes we take for granted. This was my learning from a deep environment retreat I experienced during this Full Moon in Capricorn.

We all have the opportunity to use our passion represented by Mars to become the nutrients of our deep strength represented by Pluto making changes in our body, our mind and spirit to unify them in connection with this energy.

Every 28 days the Moon in its transit over our natal birth chart (snapshot of the sky when we were born) makes contact with our natal moon bringing the opportunity to grow and experience something related with what the Moon represents = emotions, mood, memory, nutrition, fertility, motherhood and motherland among others.

We astrologers calculate a chart for the Lunar Return monthly to know the personal emotional make up for the month. It is like the Solar Return chart (when we have a birthday and the Sun returns to same degree as when we were born showing an unfolding story for the year ahead).

My lunar return was yesterday July 9th, 2017  and it showed in the Lunar Return chart that I was going to experience something within a group 
expressing myself & my passion.  
I was invited to give a talk 
to a beautiful group
 in a weekend retreat organised by Infinite Balance. 
(Big thanks to Lani for the magical weekend I had).
I didn’t only talk about the Moon and the upcoming eclipses but also I learnt about permaculture, my body through yoga and belly dancing and I had a deep contact with the environment and vegetarian food surrounded by the forest illuminated by the full wisdom of the Moon in Capricorn!

In my memories will always stay this beautiful night singing under the Moon Light around the camp fire and the bunch of young people sharing the night!!!
