Phoenix Suns announce roster for NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas

The Phoenix Suns on Sunday announced their roster for the 2024 NBA 2K25 Summer League, which begins next Friday in Las Vegas.

Here is the roster. All players are rookies, unless years of NBA experience is noted after their name.

Jalen Bridges, 6-7, F, Baylor; Boo Buie, 6-2, G, Northwestern; Michael Devoe, 6-4, G, Georgia Tech; Ryan Dunn, 6-6, F, Virginia; Robert Franks, 6-7, F, Washington St (1-year).; Oso Ighodaro, 6-10, F, Marquette; Logan Johnson, 6-2, G, St. Mary's; Matt Lewis, 6-5, G, James Madison; Malik Osborne, 6-9, F, Florida St.; David Roddy, 6-4, F, Colorado St., (2 years) Tyrese Samuel, 6-10, F; Florida; Tyson Walker, 6-1, G; Michigan St.; Mason Walters, 6-9, F, Wyoming; Quinndary Weatherspoon, 6-3, G, Mississippi St., (3 years); Isaiah Wong, 6-3, G, Miami, (1-year).

The Suns will begin with four games starting on July 13. The summer league, now in its 20th season, is designed to feature rookies, second-year players and undrafted players looking to land with a team. All 30 NBA teams participate. Games are held in Las Vegas at Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of UNLV.

Each team will play at least five games, including four games from July 12-19. After each team’s first four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs, beginning with a semifinal doubleheader on July 21. The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game on July 22, on ESPN.

Here is the initial schedule for the Suns and network (Arizona broadcast times listed):

July 13: Phoenix at Golden State, 8 p.m. (ESPN2)

July 16: Indiana Pacers at Phoenix Suns, 4 p.m., ESPNU

July 17: Phoenix Suns at Oklahoma City Thunder, 8 p.m., NBA TV

July 19: Milwaukee Bucks at Phoenix Suns, 4 p.m., NBA TV

All 76 games of the 11-day competition will air on ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN+ and ESPN3) or NBA TV. Every game will also be available to stream on the ESPN App.

Bol Bol signs

As expected, the Suns announced Sunday the team had re-signed 7-2 big man Bol Bol. Terms were not disclosed. Bol played in 43 games with the Suns last season, averaging 5.2 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting a career-best 61.6% from the field and 42.3% from three-point range.
