The women's soccer tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games begins on the second day of the Games.

All 12 teams in the tournament will face off with six games on the first day of group stage matches. Thursday's soccer clashes will make up part of the last day of competition ahead of the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony, which is set for Friday.

Headlining the first round of matches is a Group C game between two recent World Cup winners: Spain (2023 winners) and Japan (2011) at the Stade de la Beaujoire in Nantes.
