Samford's men's basketball schedule includes games against Michigan State, Arizona

After the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance in 24 years, Samford will take on one of the toughest non-conference schedules in program history this season. The Bulldogs' non-conference schedule includes several matchups against postseason teams, highlighted by trips to Michigan State (Nov. 19) and Sweet Sixteen participant Arizona (Dec. 18). This will be Samford's second trip to Arizona, with the Bulldogs losing 86-57 on Nov. 12, 2006 in Tucson; this year will be the first time Samford and Michigan State have faced each other.
