Some of her most cherished travel memories stem from a month-long jaunt with her husband around Western Europe. It was during this trip that she realized she enjoyed planning for others almost as much as traveling herself! Beyond her adventures in travel, Kristen’s greatest journey is raising three kids with her husband, Tim. Together, they explore their local Texas and beyond, seeking out new experiences and making memories that will last a lifetime. These experiences have continued to help her hone family travel as a specialty; Kristen is your go-to when it comes to how to best plan for adventures with your little ones (and teenagers!) in tow.

Which destinations or hotels do you go back to again and again? Why?

One of the most important things to me when I travel is top-notch service, so I find myself returning to Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts all over the globe. The personalized approach and attention to detail are on point at each of their properties and I love how no matter where in the world you are staying with them, there is a consistency you can count on.

What does your perfect vacation day look like?

My perfect vacation day starts with waking up early, followed by a fresh breakfast and an adventurous excursion. From there, we’d enjoy a restful afternoon, capped off by a late, slow dinner to complete the perfect travel day!
