From an early age, Katrina embraced her love for adventure and discovery. Her enthusiasm for travel was unearthed after going on family trips to the Pacific, Asia, Europe, and the United States. Prior to becoming a travel advisor, Katrina worked in corporate banking and finance, allowing her to bring a highly professional, diligent, and caring approach to planning travel for her clients. Finding herself unable to stay in one place for too long, she continued her adventure by backpacking with friends worldwide and working holidays in New Mexico and London. Over time, Katrina realized she wanted to turn her love for travel into a career and has since found her niche in worldwide luxury travel.

From breathtaking safaris in South Africa to scenic hiking at the Bay of Fires in Tasmania, Katrina is open to experiencing all destinations. Which destinations do you go back to again and again? 

New York City is as close as I get to a second home. With family nearby in Connecticut, I can spend time in the city that never sleeps and embrace my family at the same time. I recently got engaged in NYC and for that reason, the city will always have a special place in my heart.

The Amalfi Coast is another spot I have been fortunate enough to frequent on several occasions and will keep returning to again and again. During my last two trips there, I stayed at Santa Catarina and Miramalfi, which I could not have loved more. Between the food, weather, water, and absolute quiet, there is nothing better. Every time I leave, I say that “I left my wallet in Amalfi”… it gives me an excuse to keep returning to find it!

What does your perfect vacation day look like?

This will always depend on the location. A low-profile holiday requires the bare minimum: a buffet breakfast, a long walk on the beach, lunch by the pool, a long nap in the sun, and cocktails at night! A new city would require a full belly of breakfast, a morning tour, an afternoon and night spent exploring the city, and dinner trying the local cuisine.
