About us
SYTEV is independent, non-government organisation focused on recovery of society through charity and learning – education activity by introducing christian and moral values. Aim of organization is support and development of activities on the local, national and international level in area of non-formal education, using free time, cultural-social and volunteering practise for public, making communities and networks of youth and also focusing on needs and requirements of people and engagement them to public life. SYTEV develops of democratic dialogue, education and entrepreneurship in Slovakia and abroad. To achieve these aims has an ongoing collaboration with the leading universities, NGO’s and research organizations in Slovakia for the development of projects, trainings and educational material. SYTEV retains a valuable network of professional trainer’s and educational experts experienced with formal and non-formal education. The network is considered competent to contribute to the implementation of activities related to the initiatives of SYTEV and its partners. Target group are teenagers and youth people from 13 – 30 years old. Organization consists from 5 main people (managers), 15 youth workers and more than 200 members/volunteers. Organization is covering informal groups of youth people and is cooperating with schools.

As of last month I fully participated in 15 Erasmus+ mobilities. The last training course I have participated in as Slovak representative was in beautiful Florence, Italy in September. 🃏After the project I had a pleasure to discuss the various aspects of the training with my peers as a part of dissemination. 👾 Together with Philipp who also participated as a member of Slovak team we explained what did project YOUR GAME specialized on how to use and create educational games for the youth sector and how to build up the participation of youth. 🧩 throughout the whole call we use non formal and informal education and exchanged knowledge about importance of educational games and different methodologies and techniques that can be applied in different contexts. During 17-20 May, SYTEV and Trinaqueeria hosted the APV for the Youth Exchange "Youth for Media Literacy and Against Hateful Behaviour". 🏳️🌈 This took place in Žilina, Slovakia. Together with team leaders, trainers, and fellow participants from Portugal, Belgium, Romania, Italy, Armenia, Croatia, and Slovakia, we worked to get everything ready for the Youth Exchange happening in July. 😊 Can't wait to share more about this project with you all in July!
🇸🇰 Last weekend, two of our ESC volunteers traveled to Slovakia for an advance planning visit to prepare for a Youth Exchange taking place in July. The focus? 'Youth for Media Literacy and Against Hateful Behaviour.' 🗣 💡 This project aims to empower young people to critically evaluate the information they find online, promoting fact-checking and combating hateful media. 🧐 🤝 EEE-YFU supports this youth exchange organized by SYTEV and Trinaqueeria. 🇪🇺 Last weekend, together with my colleague Nadia Novakova Bezakova we had a chance to be a part of another great initiative! Together.eu grant recipient SYTEV (Slovak Youth for Traveling, Education and Volunteering) kicked off their winning project “Together for change”. 👨👩👧👦 20 young participants from all around Slovakia took part at a 3-day training session in Strečno to become the next EP/ Together.eu ambassadors! Each young lector will organize at least 10 workshops for a minimum of 150 people. 💪🏼 We helped them prepare their workshops, gave them information on the EP, the European Elections and the together.eu platform and discussed how to actively engage young voters. ‼️ Young ambassadors acting as multipliers within their own communities play a crucial role when engaging first time voters! #useyourvote #EE24 #eurovolby2024 #využisvojhlas #spoločne
