Our company with Karpatská nadácia are focusing on education of future generations, starting with children 👩⚖️👨⚖️ in primary schools. 🚀We want to prepare them for the world full of challenges that requires innovation and creativity. We want to empower children with strong digital skills💻, to be able to think critically💭 and have a sense of responsibility not only towards themselves but also towards those around them. The grant program Schools of Tomorrow 🧑🏫 supports innovative primary schools and teachers. It will help them take on new trends, try new methods, bring innovations and creatively approach teaching of primary school children. Schools have to prepare children for a digital future that will bring new opportunities but also challenges. 🤝Together with the Carpathian Foundation, we will redistribute 20,000€ 💶 among 10 schools in the Košice and Prešov regions for the next school year 2024/2025. The call is open from 20.8. to 30.9.2024. In the last school year 2023/2024 we also donated 20,000 € among 10 schools. What an amazing and multicultural experience! 🎆 We cherish the look back, as we were the official partner of the event organized by the Košická regionálna komora SOPK on the Role of Women in the 21st Century. It was truly impressive; we had the opportunity to hear from exceptional women with multifaceted backgrounds, including 7 ambassadors (on-site and online), successful women from the business sector, and academia. The program included 4 rounds of panel discussions focusing on gender equality and identifying and overcoming gender stereotypes. 💪 Our colleague, Michaela Estok Dutkova, participated in one of the panel discussions. At Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, we are seeing an increasing number of women taking up managerial positions. Michaela sees women as a great advantage in leadership due to their natural caring and empathy, which are valuable qualities in various positions. Together, we have agreed that changing the mindset of both women and men on gender equality is crucial. We need to act as role models for our children and resist societal pressures and stereotypes while supporting and inspiring each other. Have the courage to pursue your goals 🎯 and dreams! We are proud that DT ITSO SK places great emphasis on gender equality, with 30 percent of our colleagues being female – significantly higher than the industry average in Slovakia and Europe.
