Women's association football

Women's association football, usually known as women's football or women's soccer, is a team sport. It is the same thing as association football but is played by women only. It is played at the professional level in many countries throughout the world. 176 national teams participate internationally.[1][2]

The first FIFA Women's World Cup was the 1991 FIFA Women's World Cup held in China. Since then, women's football has increased in popularity a lot.
