Stelvio Cipriani

Stelvio Cipriani (20 August 1937 – 1 October 2018) was an Italian composer. He was born in Rome. He was known for his motion picture soundtracks.[1] His first soundtrack was the spaghetti western The Bounty Killer (1966), followed by a well known score for The Stranger Returns (also known as A Man, a Horse, a Gun and Shoot First, Laugh Last) (1967).

He was awarded Nastro d'Argento for Best Score for The Anonymous Venetian (1970).

Cipriani died on 1 October 2018 of complications from stroke in Rome at the age of 81.[2]
