Miles Jonathon Austin III (born June 30, 1984[1]) is an American football player. He plays as a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. He was signed by the Cowboys in 2006. Austin played college football for the Monmouth Hawks. Austin's professional career was quiet at first, but Austin had a breakout year in 2009. He also had a great season in 2010, but missed much of 2011 with an injury. In his NFL career from 2006 to the present, Austin has 211 catches, 3,294 total receiving yards, and 28 total touchdowns. He also has 11 attempts, 94 yards, and a touchdown rushing.
Austin, with the help of his family, owns the Austin Family Foundation, which helps improve the mental and physical status of young people.
