"Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?)" on YouTube

"Joanne" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga. It is taken from her fifth studio album of the same name. The song is a folk-pop song that discusses the death of Gaga's aunt, her father's sister, who died from lupus in 1974, before Gaga was born. Joanne is also Gaga's middle name.

A slower, piano version of the song was released on January 26, 2018, and renamed "Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?)".[1] Gaga performed this version along with "Million Reasons" at the 60th Grammy Awards on January 28, 2018, where she was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for Joanne and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Million Reasons".

The piano version won the award for Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2019 (61st) Grammy Awards.[2]
