Hildegard Hamm-Brücher (May 11, 1921 – December 7, 2016) was a German liberal politician.[1] She was the federal state secretar from 1969 to 1972 and from 1977 to 1982. In 1993 she became the Free Democratic Party's candidate for the federal presidency elections to be held the following year.

Hamm-Brücher was born in Essen, Germany. She died in Berlin, Germany on December 7, 2016 from congestive heart failure, aged 95.[2]
