Danny Kaye (born David Daniel Kaminsky; January 18, 1911 – March 3, 1987)[2] was an American actor, comedian, singer, and dancer. He hosted his own television show, The Danny Kaye Show. He has also starred in many movies.

Kaye died on March 3, 1987 in Los Angeles, California from heart failure and internal bleeding caused by hepatitis C, aged 76.[3][4]
