This category is for birds that live in North America. The reason that birds are excluded from is because there are too many birds alive today to be included in that category, so they need a category of their own. But this isn't to detract from their status as being 100% dinosaurian. After all, we have a category for, , and, but these are all still considered subclassifications of dinosaurs, just like birds are.
