Wilbert "Bill" Cobbs (June 16, 1934 – June 25, 2024) was an American movie and television actor. He starred in over 120 movies and television programs.
Personal life
[change | change source]Cobbs was born on June 16, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio.[1] Cobbs was the second cousin of American actor James Baskett.
Career
[change | change source]Cobbs' career began during 1974 in the movie The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. He is known for his role in The Bodyguard. Cobbs' latest appearances were in the 2022 film Caroltyn and the 2023 miniseries Incandescent Love. Cobbs was not married and lived in Los Angeles, California and in New York City, New York. Cobbs continued to act.
