Dearest Pmlineditor!
Most kind and benovolent adopted Wikipedian "Papa"(if I may have the honor of calling you that)! I am so extremely sorry to be bothering you--again, but please check on the new article I made, Caving. If you're too busy, you don't need to, but I would only be more overjoyed if you would. I hope you have a good time on Wikipedia, and happy editing! :) Miss Tilney (talk) 05:01, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
- I found mainly two minor issues, viz., the use of <br> and the lack of categories. Please don't use <br>; just leave a line gap before writing. For the latter, you might use HotCat. Otherwise, the article is quite good. BTW, I'm not your Wikipedian "papa"; just someone who is trying to help. Pmlineditor ∞ 11:19, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
Protection?
Can you full protect all of my talk page archives except for #20? Thanks, Razorflame 13:41, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, will do. Pmlineditor ∞ 13:43, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
So sorry to bother you!
Please forgive my impudence and impertinence, you must be plenty annoyed already by my continual requests and complaints...
But I wanted to ask you.. because Classical Esther kindly informed me that I could ask admins... May I please have rollback rights? As you may know already, I'm such a terrible, impatient user that I can't bare to just click the difference, do undo, check it over, and save... when the vandal is so annoying, though it may not be as annoying as me whenever I nag you. So I do very much wish I could just have the wonderful rollback to rollback every tiny horrid thing the vandals write that is extremely offensive and - but, of course, you don't need to if you want, no need to make kind, benovolent Pmlineditor angry. Thanks for your help anyway, and besides, if I don't get the rollback I guess it'll be a good chance to make myself learn to be patient :)!
Yours Sincerely and humbly,
Miss Tilney (talk) 08:51, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- You are extremely kind, dear Pmlineditor! Thankyou very much for giving me the rollback rights! I hope I shall use them properly and be able to be of more good to Wikipedia... :) Thankyou! Miss Tilney (talk) 07:43, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- No problem; please read the guideline. Pmlineditor ∞ 07:44, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry, Pmlineditor!! So sorry to make such a big mistake.. :) I hope I can improve. Miss Tilney (talk) 08:22, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Archiving.
It didn't archive that section because the last date on it was the 29th and its set to do it every 7 days. Which isn't for 2 more days. -DJSasso (talk) 14:54, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Well, it would have unless the resolved template had been added... that delayed the archival process. Anyway, thanks for the information. --Pmlineditor ∞ 14:56, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yup, no biggy. Just figured you might like to know it wasn't the bots being stupid. It was just the resolved template being added with a much later time stamp. -DJSasso (talk) 14:58, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- (Belated reply) Okay, thanks for the info. Pmlineditor ∞ 08:47, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for using the {{oldrfdfull}} template on the talk page! You are the first person other than myself to do so, from what I can see.
Incidently, if the article has been renamed/moved, then there is an option for that:
- |oldname=y will add "At the time of the discussion, the {page type} was called {page]".
- |oldname=name will add "At the time of the discussion, the {page type} was called name".
Also, it's set up so that if the template was on a "Template talk:xxx" page, it would say "the template was called..." instead of "the page was called..."
Regards, -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 17:14, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks. I'll remember that. Pmlineditor ∞ 09:40, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

imo, I feel that you should be promoted to cratship. You have done a fantastic and spotless job as an administrator and I think you deserve the crat bits. If you accept, I'll be happy to nominate you. Regards, —§ stay (sic)! 05:59, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- Need to be admin for 6 months to be crat. Pmlineditor ∞ 11:56, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. Should I wait another month for you to accept, or should I leave you alone? —§ stay (sic)! 03:55, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- From what a crat told me, crat noms are self-noms since you only need two crats to support and no so-called "normal" user takes part in the first 24 hours of the discussion. In any case, I'll think of this later. Pmlineditor ∞ 09:41, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

- If it is created again, then, yes it should be salted. I didn't salt it then... which probably I could have done then, but it has somewhat staled now. Pmlineditor ∞ 09:41, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Question
Why is clubbing stub with expand bad? Miss Tilney (talk) 09:22, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

Please?
Sorry to bother you (again)!! I just need some help on the DYK article I made and asked for. It's called Protea. Could you check on it and add a few more refs? Thankyou again, so much for your tireless help! You are always so esteemable. Your humble servant, Miss Tilney (talk) 08:51, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, will do. Pmlineditor ∞ 08:51, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Done. Pmlineditor ∞ 09:07, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- How quick to reply and do! You continually amaze me, Pmlineditor! I am very content with what you did... Thankyou once and again! Joyfully, Miss Tilney (talk) 09:15, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Done. Pmlineditor ∞ 09:07, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
Another very tiresome request
How ashamed I am to enter your high talk page, so superior to me, and ask you impudently again! But nevertheless I cannot help but wish to--for you are so kind in your answers, and so patient in your corrections!
And now, I, impertinently, must ask you a very tedious and annoying request, which I doubt you will take the tireful job of listening to. Could you please check on the few articles I've made a few days ago, about Almond Cakes, Carrot Cakes, Black Forest Cakes, and Devil's Food Cakes. Sorry, but please? :) Well, then, thankyou if you do, and of course I will take no offense if you do not, because you are always so busy to reply to these kind of annoying requests. O, yes, and I also wish you could change my user name, Pretty Lydie into Belinda--after all, I was quite immature and dumb when I made it, and now regret making such a coarse, unlikely, vain name. I will always be, and am,
Yours most extremely humbly,

- Reviewed and more or less fixed. I just found one error; you didn't use {{cite book}} for the book references or {{cite web}} for the websites; so the refs are incorrect. A good example may be the VGAs - you can see the reference format in Jupiter. Also remember not to capitalise any word other than proper nouns. Great work in the articles. Cheers, Pmlineditor ∞ 08:19, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi, Pmlineditor!
Happy Valentine's day! I thank you for all your kind carings and helpful, patient comments, and for adopting me in Wikipedia!
I hope you'll have a happy Valentine's day, and tho' I write so shortly and unelegantly, still you won't be mad at this impudent spam? :) O, and by the way, 'tis Traditional New Year (설날) in Korea, where we live! Well, have a lot of imaginary chocolates!

dude, why do you keep deleting? This is truely a notable topic.
What proof do you need? I would be happy to provide
- I need notable sources proving that this is notable. Pmlineditor ∞ 16:03, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
http://www.nylonmag.com/?section=article&parid=4129
http://www.thefrisky.com/tag/loreal/www.thefrisky.com/page/pr-lounge/
Does that help? Certainly the fact that it is written about scientific american - a non beuty post should demonstrated that this is worhty. Let me know if there is anything else you need to demonstrate that this is a notable topic
- Every product by a notable company does not warrant inclusion; sorry. You can create L'Oreal if you wish. Pmlineditor ∞ 16:12, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Agreed, however this not just about the product. It is about the technology behind the product, a technolgy that has remained essentially unchanged in about 100 years. Haircolor was the original product the founder of the L'Oreal company created - and now this company is the largest beauty company in the world. The fact that a science journal is writing about a beauty product demonstrates how innovative this technology is.
- Develop this article in your userspace and remove the spammy parts. Add references and then I will review it and move it to the main space. I must warn you that the article might be deleted since it falls out of our scope. Maybe it will be kept on EnWikipedia, but that is another wiki. Pmlineditor ∞ 16:21, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Great will do. If you have any suggestions to make it better - less spammy, let me know. I appreciate your feedback.
- Sure, will do. Happy editing. Pmlineditor ∞ 16:24, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
can you tell me where I can create this in my user space? Can seem to find out how.
OK, Check it out
http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Dchidlaw
Did you have a chance to review?
- Okay, will look. Pmlineditor ∞ 12:28, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- It's better than the one you made in the main space, Dchidlaw! ^^ but it still looks kind of complex.. Classical Esther ~ 12:31, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
So do have suggestions of what should be removed or reworded then? It is fairly complex... and I was trying to make it as factual as possible.
So can I post on to Wikedpedia?
As I haven't heard back from you, I am hoping that is a yes. So I tried posting again.
- Okay, I'll check it in a bit. Sorry for the delay. Pmlineditor ∞ 09:58, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
SOS!
So sorry, wonderful Pmlineditor, but will you please help me with this hard job? --How may I say it--I have made a new article called Wikipedia:WikiDragons, but PeterSymonds removed it to User:Belinda/WikiDragons. They say it's too funny and unneutral to become a wikiproject. But the Article on enWP isn't that neutral, either, I think. Aren't project pages supposed to be like that? Could you help me and improve the page? Thankyou! You're always so positive and nice. :) I'm too lazy to do it myself, and also too unexperienced with project pages. Yours lazily, Belle (talk) 08:53, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- Project pages/projects (in my opinion) shouldn't really be humourous, unless it's a humour essay which you can find on en wikipedia quite often. Just wanted to offer my ideas about my standards of a project, you don't have to listen to me. :) Nifky^ 08:58, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- Certainly I'd better listen to your wonderful advice, Nifky! But I didn't exactly write it humourously, I think, to my opinion, and also I added the template {{template:humour}} to the page. Isn't it alright, now? :) Yours Hopefully, Belle (talk) 09:03, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm, I would actually want to know the aim of the Wikiproject. Seems ambigious at the moment. Nifky^ 09:10, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- WikiProjects are always in the userspace here. That said, I agree with Nifky's assessment. Pmlineditor ∞ 09:47, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

Are numbers smaller than 21 supposed to be spelled out, Pmlineditor? I think Peterdownunder told me otherwise. ^-^ Which is right? Classical Esther♣ 08:32, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- I'll check; it is quite possible I'm wrong. Pmlineditor ∞ 08:33, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I was wrong... it seems that numbers <21 are spelled out in Wikinews and not Wikipedia. Probably the EnWiki article which I was referring to confused me. Sorry for this; I'll revert my edits. Keep up the good work! Pmlineditor ∞ 08:43, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, thanks for replying! Classical Esther♣ 09:32, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- By the way, Pmlineditor, could you please be so kind as to tell me the difference between {{reflist}} and <references/>? I've been quite confused by that for a long time :) Classical Esther♣ 10:37, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- {{reflist}} is used for displaying references in small fonts or in different columns. For example, in a page like Jupiter, it would have been very difficult to accomodate 40 refs in a single column and hence, {{reflist}} is used there, rather than using <references />. Of course, it doesn't matter much for small, unimportant stubs; however, it is important for the article of a notable novel such as David Copperfield since the article, when expanded, will certainly need more references and thus, it will be wise to use them from the beginning. This page is also useful as it documents the usage of {{reflist}}. Pmlineditor ∞ 10:45, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

Sorry.
Dear me, I'm making so much mistakes! I'm so sorry. Esther did not know about references and all those things because it was one of her earliest edits. :( Please don't remove my flag, I'll be especially careful from now on. For some reason, I'm prejudiced on IP Adresses. I'll try not to be like that. I didn't know it was POVish because I had read it in several books, I thought the IP was just removing useful information for no reason. Oh, well. Thankyou! ♥ Belinda ♥ 05:24, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- It included original research which is unsuitable for GAs. If the material were written without OR and POV, and had references, it could have been kept. Good to know that you will use rollback carefully. We all make mistakes, so it is fine. Cheers, Pmlineditor ∞ 05:26, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Next time you deliver SN using AWB, would you mind using the flood flag? Thanks! EhJJTALK 13:19, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
