So many lemons.
A treeful.
I need ideas of what to do with them. The suggestion box is open.
Otherwise, we drink a few and freeze the rest for later.
They are Meyers, if that helps.
Look like little stained glass windows
Taste like lemon fruit leather
Slice lemons thinly, put in small bowl, layered with sugar, and just barely cover with water.
Microwave 1 minute until rind goes translucent
Spread out on tray (parchment covered is good), cover with the cooking syrup and more sugar.
Bake on very slow oven ( 200 to 240F) until carmelized
Cool and dry.
Update: also ok to sprinkle with ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, cayenne etc. to taste.
