WELCOME TO CREATIVITY’S CRADLE! When management gurus talk enthusiastically about disruption, they mean disrupting other people’s business. When they talk about creativity, they think of yet another tool for increasing profits. And when they talk about natives, they mean generations that can’t tell anymore what is real and what is virtual or that digit used to mean a finger. In South-East Europe life is good. It is sometimes really hard, too. There are more nations and languages and religions than in any similarly sized region. People here don’t have much in common. Everything happens too fast. These complexities are as frustrating now as they were life threatening throughout history. With countless rulers and artists and philosophers being born across the region, being creative often meant just managing to stay alive. So when people here talk about disruption, it’s something that happens every day. Outstanding creativity is as normal as the air we breathe, and being native means actually knowing where you belong: to millennia of mind blowing milestones. South-East Europe, Timeless and Boundless

Interior design for our new office space – an architectural studio based in Belgrade, for 50 employees. At the core of the design concept for the new space where our office is located is a cube, but not the first association we have with a cube (as something solid, compact, and closed). This is more about a loose and airy cube – both in the domain of space and its multi-functionality, as well as in design elements, the play of light, and reflection. The new Kids Club at the Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica was assigned to the office of Polyanna Paraskeva and associates and involves the redesign of the hotel’s existing Kids Club. The design and construction were completed in 2023. Specifically, it is a low-height interior space of almost 130 m2 with limited natural light, extending to a semi-open area of 60 m2 and with surrounding space of 900 m2. This project was designed as a psychology clinic, and a natural office concept was created using sustainable materials and organic forms. One of the most important design decisions we took into consideration when creating the office concept was to design a comfortable and calm environment where incoming patients feel in their comfort zone.
