Maurice Tourneur (2. februar 1876 – 4. august 1961) bio je francuski filmski režiser. Karijeru je započeo u domovini kao teatarski glumac, te je odlazio na turneje po Britaniji i Južnoj Americi. Sa vremenom ga je počeo zanimati novi medij filma, te je 1911. počeo raditi kao pomoćnik režisera za studio Eclair, a 1912. snimio i svoj režijski debi. Godine 1914. je otputovao u SAD te je sljedećih godina imao izuzetno plodnu karijeru, ispočetka na Istočnoj obali, a potom u Hollywoodu. Krajem 1920-ih je, međutim, došao u sukob sa šefovima hollywoodskih studija te se vratio u domovinu. Tamo je nastavio karijeru sve dok 1949. nije izgubio nogu u prometnoj nesreći.
Njegov sin Jacques Tourneur bio je istaknuti hollywoodski režiser.
