We’re glad to do our part for #Singapore’s Comprehensive Marine Biodiversity Survey (CMBS II), and build on our long-time support for biodiversity initiatives here. We hope that the survey’s insights will equip future generations with more knowledge to protect and care for our environment, and natural heritage. Congrats to National Parks Board and National University of Singapore (Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum and TMSI) on the successful launch, and thank you Minister Desmond Lee for gracing the event. 📸: NUS ExxonMobil Giving

Engage. Equip. Energize. These goals drive our #ExxonMobilSG employee volunteers in SEED*, who pulled off their second roadshow this year. More than 150 colleagues took part and learned about: 📌Our corporate initiatives; 📌How to better recycle in our everyday lives; and 📌One of the five ExxonMobil-NTU-A*STAR Corporate Lab projects. ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions Asia Pacific president Irtiza Sayyed also engaged close to 100 people in a hybrid forum. He spoke about the exciting yet challenging work that the LCS team is working on across the region. Shout out to our SEED volunteers for their passion and dedication! *SEED: Sustainability Employee Engagement Drive #weareexxonmobil #lowcarbonsolutions #volunteers

Keep focused on lowering carbon intensity of hydrogen. The Baytown hydrogen project that we're working on in the US is designed with that in mind, said ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions vice president for AP business development Hayley Pham. A combination of differentiated natural gas, carbon capture and storage, and renewable power can significantly lower the carbon intensity of hydrogen. Instead of pre-selecting options, ExxonMobil supports color and technology agnostic approaches to solutions for the energy transition. Hayley was a panelist at the inaugural Singapore-US forum at Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW). The panel agreed on three areas to further develop the hydrogen value chain: 1️⃣ A more resilient cross-border supply chain for hydrogen and ammonia: Linking the US to AP 2️⃣ Supportive policies to drive supply and demand for low-carbon hydrogen; and 3️⃣ Prove out technology for hydrogen/ammonia to be more widely used by power generation, maritime and heavy industrial sectors #SIEW2024 #hydrogen #ammonia Energy Market Authority (EMA)

Carbon capture and storage, and low-carbon intensity hydrogen. These are two among several solutions that can help AP countries move towards a lower-carbon future. Egon van der Hoeven, ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions vice-president for Asia Pacific Business Development said this at a Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) panel discussion. The panel also highlighted that every country has different needs. So, access to resources and collaboration between industry, academia and governments are key to enable cross-border solutions. Building on our research collaboration 🤝 Great to see the strong teamwork between ExxonMobil and A*STAR researchers. Recently, Dr. Prasanna V. Joshi, vice president of ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions technology, met the A*STAR team in Singapore. They discussed progress on Corporate Lab projects, and viewed a newly-installed reactor. Drawing from his diverse experience, Dr. Joshi shared his thoughts around accelerating the scale-up of solutions for industry. Looking forward to the next update, as the teams work on potential solutions for the energy transition! #research #EMTEC #collaboration 📸: A*STAR Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy & Environment (ISCE2)

🚨Ready to respond! Protective booms, skimmers, and absorbent pads. These are equipment we can use in a response, and are tested during drills with others. We’re proud of our team who took part in Exercise JOSE* by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). We activated a response boat to the exercise site, and deployed boom to protect the shoreline and berth. A group from MPA, including Eng Dih Teo and David Foo, witnessed the boom deployment at one of our berths in Jurong Island. A big shout-out to all involved and standing #ReadyToRespond. #SIBCON2024 #JOSE ExxonMobil Man Wai Lai Leona Ann Chua Karen Wong *JOSE: Joint Oil Spill Exercise

Rinse off your ride for a good cause💦🚗 More than 50 #ExxonMobilSG and FairPrice Group volunteers wiped down the cars that came through the car wash at Esso Toa Payoh Lorong 2 service station. Each driver donated at least S$20, which will support the needs of the Children's Aid Society (Singapore) for children and youth. We are honored that Minister for National Development and Patron of Children’s Aid Society Desmond Lee joined us at the 10th edition of the Charity Car Wash. Congrats to the team, business partners and event sponsors, for raising over S$65,000 for the beneficiaries!
