As an Assistant Corporate Planning Manager, this position is expected to play a critical role in supporting our business operations by providing financial insights and guidance through P&L management of the Company and driving the business and people for improvement and growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborative Partnership
Work closely with various departments to align business plans, provide financial guidance and support achieving strategic objectives.
Business Planning
Set PL target and Merchandise budget for the company. Communicate with each department in the budget-setting process and create realistic, yet challenging budgets to drive the company forward.
Assist in developing Mid-term and Yearly budgets that reflect the strategic direction of the Company.
Set daily sales budgets for each store in line with the key activities and business plans for the month.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with various departments to optimize the P&L structure of the company.
Drive business to change numbers
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly Store, EC sales against budget and provide accurate forecast.
Identify actions to change the numbers and work across-departments with Stores to execute the actions.
Review the business results to identify course of actions and opportunities, and reflect into the company's target and actions.
Assist in creating weekly and monthly reports for the Management and the department heads.
Key Requirements:
Knowledge and Experience required
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
Ability to lead and manage multiple stakeholders to drive change for the improvement of business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, in a multinational environment.
Strong business acumen and understanding of retail operations and supply chain processes.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, willing to accept changes and challenges.
Positive attitude and high integrity
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise and deliver tangible outcomes
Ability to build a team and develop strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation
Minimum 5 years experience of FP&A role in a general company or strategic consulting
Certification required
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
