📚 Today marks an incredible milestone – it's been three years since my book, "Reframing Generational Stereotypes" was published. I vividly recall the journey: from the day McGraw Hill extended that publishing contract, it became my mission to capture and share the messages of intergenerational collaboration, appreciation, opportunity, and unity that I'd passionately advocated for throughout my 15-year career.
🙌 I remember the whirlwind of those six months I had to submit my manuscript, which I penned during the initial COVID-19 lockdown. Balancing my responsibilities, including caring for 3 small children, a taxing career and the complexities brought by the pandemic, was a challenging yet rewarding experience.
The day I turned in the manuscript was a proud moment, and holding the first copy of the book in my hands in on New Year’s Eve 2020 was unforgettable.
Since then, it's been an incredible journey. I'm proud that generational diversity has become a topic of discussion at the Board level (I'd like to think I played a small role in that). I've been honored to speak about generational diversity at many large events around the world. My insights have reached diverse audiences through podcasts, articles, commentaries, and opinion pieces in publications like Harvard Business manager, CNA, HRM Asia Magazine, #LesdershipEnigma and many others.
I've had the privilege of working with more than 50 remarkable organizations, including industry giants like Amazon, Maserati, HSBC, Accor, UOB, OCBC, Barclays, Indeed , KPMG, The Coca-Cola Company assisting them through masterclasses, workshops, programs, and initiatives that raise awareness around the power of generational diversity.
My book has found new life with Amazon Kindle and Audible versions (narrated by yours truly) and has been published in Mandarin by Cheers Publishing.
Plus, it's set to launch in Italian and Spanish with Hoepli Editore.
And so, as I celebrate three years since one of my biggest dreams came to life, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported me on this journey and the incredible companies that have welcomed me to guide them. I look forward to the exciting adventures that await and to continue working toward a world where generations come together to make the workplace and society a better place🌟
