31 August 2024 marks the 100th year since the inauguration of the Bukit Course at the Singapore Island Country Club. Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong kindly graced the celebrations with his presence to unveil the commemorative plaque commissioned to mark this occasion, joined by the SICC Chairman, Mr Neo Kian Hong. Here's to another hundred years of this well-loved golf course.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Bukit Course, Singapore Island Country Club will hold celebrations and activities on 31 August. The Bukit Course was designed by legendary golfer James Braid, known not only for his prowess as five-time British Open champion but also for his innovative architectural legacy as a golf course designer. The Bukit Course, completed in 1924, stands as testament to Braid’s brilliance and SICC’s historical legacy and multicultural commitment.
