Our CEO Jack Moy appeared on The Straits Times last Sunday! Here are some key points from the article: 💪🏻 Motivation: Jack’s burning desire to “be part of building something bigger” provides a daily motivation for Sustenir to deliver a positive impact and enable people to be healthier by eating better. 🧘🏼♂ Wellness: What you eat is how you feel and “Kalming Kale” is only the start! Sustenir continues to innovate in a fresh range that improves mental well-being by targeting gut health issues, stress & lack of sleep, promote healthy ageing.  🥬 Production: Sustenir grows more than 3 tonnes of locally-grown superfoods (Spectacular Spinach, Kinky Kale, Almighty Arugula…), and intends to add colour to our greens through rainbow chard in September.   🫶🏽 Community: Sustenir works with SG Enable to provide employment opportunities to people with disabilities, and continues to promote positive impact as a B-Corp, a certification given to businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance and public transparency. Thank you The Straits Times and UOB for the opportunity. Not forgetting our customers, partners and supporters for joining us in our mission of nourishing people and planet, one leaf at a time, over the past decade.  To read the full article, click here: https://lnkd.in/gJUXnB9X #bcorp #localproduce #sustenir

Sustenir is delighted to launch the Kalming Kale to our line-up of superfoods in Singapore. The food we eat can significantly impact our mood and well-being. Through the superfoods we grow and produce, we believe a dietary solution could play an important role in Singapore's mental health and well-being strategy. Grown specifically for higher levels of GABA (Gamma Amino-Buytric Acid), Kalming Kale is best consumed for all occasions as a wrap with proteins, and also as a salad. It's juicy and soft texture also provides an Asian-centric taste profile that contrasts the zesty and crunchy Kinky Kale. Kalming Kale is now available in all Cold Storage/CSFresh outlets island-wide. #Sustenir #Mental Well #KalmingKale #ColdStorageSingapore DFI Retail Group #GABA #locallygrown #wellbeing #superfoods

My team and I had recently concluded our final year project, with the exciting opportunity to help create a difference for Sustenir on researching on Vegetable Based Smoothies to reach out to more audiences. It is truly a privilege to be given the chance to obtain such invaluable experience for me and my team. It gives us the opportunity to not only apply our knowledge from school, but also our critical thinking skills and the ability to work with one another despite our differences. Through trials and tribulations, we were tested to persevere and provide results, which in the end were more than satisfied. We would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to Sustenir for bestowing such project to us. It gave us a platform to apply our knowledge in real world context and be given the chance to provide value. We would also like to extend our thanks to Republic Polytechnic and our final year project in-charge, Mr. Raj, for his undying and unbroken support and guidance to triumph on. Once again, we would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in the project and we are in jubilation at its completion. Sustenir Group Patrina Ng Joshua Yeo Rajkumar Thanapalan Ryan Lai

I was given the great honour of representing Sustenir Group as a panelist at the 4th Shizuoka-Singapore Agri Food Forum held this week in Shizouka, Japan. We discussed at great length of the successful collaboration between Sustenir and Masuda seeds. Despite various challenges faced, we are confident about our shared vision ahead: serving products that improve consumer health spans. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Jack Moy and Thomas Wong for entrusting me with this opportunity; the teams at Sustenir and Masuda for the guidance along the way. A special thank you to Institute of Technical Education, Catherine Soh and AOI from Shizuoka for organizing an insightful event and looking forward to next year!

Chief Executive Officer at Sustenir Group

"Urban farming can deliver positive impact to cities beyond growing". Thankful for the opportunity to share this with DPM Lawrence Wong and Minister Grace Fu last Saturday at the "Feeding our Future" event. I was pleased to share how over our 10-year journey, Sustenir Group has emerged with a purpose to "nourish people and planet, one leaf at a time". Growing at the heart of the demand can play a big role to food resilience. For our consumers, we challenged ourselves how to go beyond that through consumer-centric, city-relevant superfoods. Stress and sleepliness are major city health issues, and we are proud to bring our Toscano Kale that is rich in GABA (gamma amino-butryic acid) to consumers that is targeted to manage that on top of the goodness of Kale. We will continue work to engage consumers to eat and live better so we can enjoy better healthspans. We are also the first farm in Singapore (and arguably, globally) to commit to green indicators (energy use, water consumption, fertilizer and waste) in growing. The Kinky Kale and Toscano Kale packs with the 3-star Clean&Green mark is our commitment to grow more with less. The stories of listening to how fellow Sustlers came to be continue to drive me every morning, from home-makers to ITE up-starts turned urban growers. There's still much to be done both as Sustenir, and as an positive industry enabler. What's next? Strength in numbers - Collaborating with industry players, off-take partners and fellow growers to grow more with less, bring more great produce and stories to market. This also includes inspiring the next generation of talents in our industry. More consumer engagements & superfoods - Bringing a broader range of superfoods that are delicious and convenient for your daily fix. Watch out for our Kale-based smoothies! Please join us as we look forward to play a leading role to feed our future. #sustenir #bcorp Sustenir Group #kale
