📣 HeForShe NTU invites you to challenge and redefine traditional notions of masculinity at our upcoming Book Reading featuring Justin Baldoni’s “Man Enough”. Delve into themes of strength, vulnerability, body image, gender equality, and fatherhood as Baldoni challenges societal norms, inspiring men to embrace vulnerability and redefine traditional gender roles.
Following the success of our 2023 Book Reading, we're excited to engage more men in HeForShe NTU initiatives. Join us for a dynamic panel discussion sparking conversations on actionable steps to enhance experiences for all genders within the NTU community.
👨🏫 Assistant Professor Aron Meltzer from the NTU Asian School of the Environment brings a unique perspective from his geological research. Passionate about equity and justice, Aron is part of ASE’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (JEDI) Committee, advocating for a fairer world.
🧠 Devanantthan (Devan) from Mental ACT is a dedicated social worker and co-founder and director of Mental ACT, a non-profit organization addressing mental health stigma in South Asian communities. Beyond his work in suicide prevention, Devan is engaged in in advocating for minority groups and exploring the intricate intersections of race, gender, religion, and other identities.
🌿 Santosh Kumar, the founder of Soul Probe, fosters healing and growth through safe spaces and introspective circles. With a background in economics and a passion for bridging ancient wisdom with modern life, Santosh facilitates conversations on inclusion, equity, and mental health, promoting a more conscious and humane world.
