A heartwarming evening was spent at the St John's Home for Elderly Persons gala charity dinner at SAFRA Mount Faber on 30th Aug. The opportunity to enhance the lives of elderly citizens through our donation to the home was one we couldn't turn away from. We were honoured to be in the presence of the former President of Singapore, Mdm Halimah Yacob, who shares our passion for this important cause. A future where technology supports residents to live fuller lives and enables caregivers to focus on human connection. That's the future Omni-Health explored at Lutheran Homes Barossa in Tanunda, South Australia, in partnership with MAITs, who is lead by Dr Edward (Ted) Mah and Mario Andreacchio. We shared our innovation by showcasing our personal robot assistants, who charmed guests with a personalized tour, and our cleaning robots to demonstrate their capabilities to ease the staff burden of daily tasks. Esteemed guests, including Chris Picton, South Australia Minister for Health and Wellbeing, and Nat Cook, South Australia Minister for Seniors and Ageing Well, joined us on this journey. Alongside members from The Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health (CEIH), we engaged in thoughtful discussions led by Lutheran Homes Barossa CEO Lee Martin, GAICD, exploring the use of AI and robotics technology to support healthy ageing and assist carers and health professionals to improve the quality of life for ageing adults. This collaboration marks a significant step towards integrating robotics technology into the heart of aged care.
