Recently, Copenhagen Shipping Trainee William accompanied Søren from our Marine department to a shipyard in Portugal to carry out a ship inspection of M/T “NORDIC MASA”. At MOLCT, we value knowledge sharing among colleagues, and the trip was a great learning experience for William who gained valuable insights into ship inspections and got the opportunity to inspect the vessel’s cargo/ballast tanks. #MOLChemicalTankers

June marks our annual "Safety Enhancement" campaign, a tradition since 1988. For 35 years, MOL Chemical Tankers has dedicated this month to fostering a strong safety culture through various activities. This campaign reaffirms our commitment to safety. This year’s theme is "Back to Basics," with the slogan “Proactive is better than reactive.” We will focus on inspections and maintenance for survival crafts, emphasizing the fundamentals of marine excellence. Events will include crew feedback collection, honorable vessel announcements, port captain meetings, and seminars. This year is particularly significant as Fairfield Chemical Carriers employees and crew join Safety Enhancement Month for the first time. We look forward to achieving new milestones together. Safety is our core responsibility and the foundation of our business. This campaign aims to strengthen the safety culture among all seafarers and onshore staff. We continuously strive to enhance safety, pursuing the highest standards in the shipping industry, both on board and on land. #MOLchemicaltankers

In our ongoing effort to unify Fairfield Chemical Carriers and MOL Chemical Tankers, we are excited to announce a significant milestone in our rebranding journey. The vessel formerly known as the “Fairchem Blade” has been renamed the “Blade Galaxy,” reflecting our commitment to a unified brand. Additionally, the vessel’s funnel has been repainted to prominently display the MOL Chemical Tanker logo, symbolizing our unified identity and forward-looking vision.   This logo mark expresses the side surface of a sailing chemical tanker, implying the Chinese character “三” as in 商船三井(MOL) as well as the alphabet “C” as in Chemical.
