Through an internal webinar with Lifeline Albury Wodonga, we learned about managing stress and the importance of timely support. We're proud to have supported their work with a donation of panels and batteries. We were also inspired by Alessandra Negri from Elettrica Rogeno Srl, who shared how they're addressing mental health in their industry. As part of our special "Solar Showcase" series, we're shining a spotlight on a project that's close to our hearts, especially around the time of World Mental Health Day. We had the incredible privilege of partnering with Kdec electrical & solar on a Maxeon Gives project, where we donated our high-performance solar panels and battery to Lifeline Albury Wodonga. This non-profit organization tirelessly provides 24-hour mental health support to those in crisis, and we were more than glad to lend our support. This month's Solar Shero is none other than Grace Kennedy-Panda, Principal at Occidental Power Solar . We asked her how she's been able to use her artistic prowess and commitment to sustainability to foster an inclusive environment within the solar industry. Born into a family of artists and entrepreneurs, Grace has been surrounded by creativity and ingenuity from a young age. Her family founded San Francisco’s first solar electric business, giving her a unique perspective on the intersection of art and renewable energy. Grace has ingeniously combined these two passions to promote both sustainability and inclusivity in the solar industry. Her innovative approach involves using scrap materials from the solar shop, including metal and end-of-life solar panels, to create fully solar-powered art events. These inclusive workshops invite participants of all ages to engage in sculptural workshops and installations, fostering an understanding of sustainability through a creative lens. We are truly inspired by Grace Kennedy's dedication to sustainability, inclusivity and creativity in the solar industry.
