First announced in May this year, our tripartite partnership with Singapore Tourism Board and UOB takes flight with a new campaign launching today. Headlined by star-studded events, extraordinary experiences and culinary adventures, the “Masterpieces. Made in Singapore” campaign enhances the Marina Bay precinct as a leading premium lifestyle and business hub. Across the entire Bay, 27 establishments have come together to offer attractive promotions for UOB cardholders in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. At Marina Bay Sands, the suite of promotions ranges from staycation packages to special offers at our celebrity chef and signature restaurants. This past week, we illuminated our façade twice in support of important causes, turning our magnificent architecture into a beacon of unwavering support. Alongside other landmarks around Marina Bay, we lit up in pink last Saturday for the Pink Ribbon Walk, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer. On Tuesday, we went blue to mark World Stroke Day, which spreads awareness of stroke prevention and recovery. These illuminations reflect our dedication to meaningful causes within our community, transforming our skyline into a symbol of strength and unity. Flying our national flag high on the world stage, our pastry team clinched top honours at the prestigious Asian Pastry Young Chefs Challenge in Guangzhou, China last month. Despite facing stiff competition from eight Asian countries, our young culinary talents did Singapore proud by sweeping triple gold medals for Best Plated Dessert, Best Chocolate Cake, and Best Chocolate Bonbon, and eventually taking home the champion title. The Asian Pastry Young Chefs Challenge gathers culinary talents under the age of 25, bringing them together to showcase their confectionary skills and creative talents. It was staged during Food2China Expo, a global food and beverage trade fair. Our country and our integrated resort are home to the finest culinary talents in the world, and we look forward to continuing to push boundaries in gastronomy.

Marina Bay Sands has once again been awarded the Enabling Mark (Platinum) by SG Enable, which reaffirms our dedication to disability-inclusive employment. This national-level accreditation honours organisations that lead the way in fostering equitable work environments. We have been recognised for our continuous efforts across key areas such as recruitment practices, workplace accessibility, and community engagement. To date, we have hired over 60 persons with disabilities across various departments. Though partnerships with SG Enable, MINDSG Ltd and Metta School, we provide internships that transition students with disabilities into full-time roles. To further enhance inclusivity, our new call and training centre was thoughtfully designed with accessible features, including ramps and height-adjustable tables. Additionally, we regularly promote disability inclusion activities and raise funds to support social service agencies and their beneficiaries. At the core of this achievement is our commitment to fostering an inclusive culture that empowers all individuals. Two of our celebrity chef and signature restaurants won top honours at the 5th World Culinary Awards™ – the only restaurants in Singapore to be recognised. Waku Ghin, a one-Michelin star restaurant helmed by celebrity chef Tetsuya Wakuda, won the title of Singapore’s Best Restaurant. RISE, our signature buffet restaurant, was crowned Singapore’s Best Hotel Restaurant. The World Culinary Awards™ celebrates and rewards excellence in the culinary industry. The stars are aligning at Marina Bay Sands. In partnership with The Walt Disney Company, we are delighted to unveil Disney Presents: A Night of Stars, a dazzling celebration of global talent held at MARQUEE Singapore. Slated for November, this spectacular event brings the magic of cinema and streaming to life with the cast of highly anticipated Disney films and Disney+ series, uniting stars from across Hollywood, South Korea and Japan. Fans will have the rare opportunity to meet some of the most iconic names in entertainment, including Captain America: Brave New World’s Anthony Mackie, Knock Off’s Kim Soohyun, Moving’s Ryu Seungryong, Gannibal’s Yuya Yagira and more. This is the second time that we’re hosting a Disney content showcase. In 2022, the two-day spectacle saw 23 top international talents come together at Marina Bay Sands to share about highly anticipated projects and engage with the local community through star-studded events. Last Saturday, Australian professional golfer and Sands ambassador Minjee Lee, who has amplified the world of women sports and golf through her decade-long career, met with 10 junior golfers from the Singapore Golf Association’s youth development programmes. Organised as part of Marina Bay Sands’ In Conversation With series, where industry titans meet with young and budding talents, the session took place at the hotel’s Paiza Collection suite with a sports simulator During the Q&A segment of the session, the 10-time LPGA Tour champion shared learnings from her professional career, including her warm-up routine, how she gets into peak mental zone for a tournament and tips on mentally preparing for the next round after a bad shot. “You can’t always be on your A game. When I play a game and something goes a bit off, I can see it through my swing or stroke. The next shot, I’ll just do a couple more swings. Ultimately, trust your skill and the practice you’ve done,” said Minjee, who discovered her passion for golf at the tender age of 10. These words of advice seek to encourage these aspiring talents to build resilience and refine their mental game for their next competition. Thereafter, the group enjoyed a round of golf inside a state-of-the-art sports simulator equipped with a full suite of golf accessories, before the three-time Olympic athlete surprised them with an autographed golf ball at the end of the session. Since joining Sands as the first female brand ambassador in June 2023, Minjee has been empowering communities by demonstrating the success of female champions as role models for young athletes, through inspirational talks and appearances at Sands’ global resorts in Macau and Singapore, as well as through Sands Cares, the company’s corporate responsibility programme. #MarinaBaySands #SandsCares
