Keppel has been recognised as one of the World’s Top Companies for Women by Forbes and Statista and was the top-performing Singapore company on Forbes’ list in 2024. The award recognises the top 400 multinational companies globally that are leading the charge to accelerate progress for women both in their workplaces and in their communities. Companies were evaluated through multiple globally administered independent surveys of approximately 100,000 women. Respondents were asked how well their employer performed on a range of gender-related workplace topics. A women-only public opinion survey was also conducted to measure how women perceive companies in terms of gender equality. Finally, companies were assessed to determine the percentage of women in leadership positions at the organisation. Mr Meng Hin Y., Chief Human Resource Officer of Keppel, said, “This recognition by Forbes highlights our dedication to create an inclusive and supportive work environment for all employees, whether men or women. At Keppel, we believe that diversity and inclusion are integral to our success, and we strive to create a workplace that empowers all individuals, regardless of gender, to reach their full potential”.
