Nurturing local talents from diverse pathways 🌏 👬 Say hello to Jia Jia! She’s from our first batch of trainees from the IBFSG - The Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore Technology in Finance Immersion Programme (TFIP) which is designed to offer specialized training and placements with financial institutions focused on critical technology areas. She is our first permanent hire from the programme. Jia Jia graduated with a Master of Science in Quantitative Finance from Singapore Management University (SMU) in 2022. She was uncertain about choosing between coding or quantitative roles for her career and so she applied to TFIP to gain some hands-on exposure. Over her twelve months with us, she confirmed her passion for coding and is now a full time Backend Engineer with GXS Bank. We’re thrilled to have her on board! Balancing wellness holistically: physical, mental and financial well-being for all! Health is wealth, and at GXS Bank, we're all about helping our employees to stay healthy. We just wrapped up our supercharged Wellness Week, which was packed with activities aimed at helping our team achieve total balance while boosting their physical, mental, and financial well-being. Our employees had a fantastic time at the Prudential WorkPLAYce Fair, diving into entertaining digital games, snagging wellness deals, and participating in a sure-win lucky draw. They also stayed on top of their health with onsite screenings and dental scans, and boosted their financial well-being with a fun and informative talk on employee medical insurance and personal shield coverage. They also got to unwind with soothing onsite meditation classes.
