_10 years of DOT: Empowering Mothers forward_ Over the weekend , DOT conducted our in-person poverty sensitisation workshop, Living On The Edge in support of Creating Narratives For Change 2024 organised by @ourcommongroundsg In this 3-hour immersive experiential game play , participants step into the 🥿 👞 👟 shoes of the different demographics that make up the low income community and was faced with the challenges and difficult decisions that they must make every single day. Swipe to the back , to have an insight of how the different demographics felt , being in the reality of a multi-stressed lower income family . 💪Understanding from their perspective , is the first step to taking meaningful actions. We can significantly impact and positively change the lives of these families if every one of us come together to contribute in our own small way.
