Comprising two plots of land, this prime site is separated by a public road in the middle, and is conveniently located about 1 km from the Huaihai Road commercial belt with Laoximen metro station being about 200 metres away. It has been earmarked for upscale development that consists of low-density villas, luxury high-rise residential apartments, a boutique hotel and ancillary retail spaces – a total permissible gross floor area (GFA) of 76,027 sqm (approx 820,000 sq ft). Last week, we brought together over 300 colleagues from City Developments Limited and our subsidiaries for an impactful Green Building, Decarbonisation & Safety (GBDS) Seminar, centred on our shared goals of safety and carbon reduction. Now in its second year, the GBDS seminar continues to drive meaningful exchange and action within the CDL Group toward a safer and greener future. The programme highlights include: • An opening address by Mr Sherman Kwek, CDL Group Chief Executive Officer underscoring CDL's commitment to environmental sustainability and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) excellence, and an inspiring presentation on safety from the perspective of the Ministry by Mr Silas Sng, Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health at the Ministry of Manpower. • CDL’s inaugural EHS Awards, celebrating 11 outstanding winners across Ensure, Embrace, and Empower categories. The categories were inspired by the Ministry of Manpower’s 3Es campaign. Norwood Grand, our latest residential launch saw 84% of its 348 units snapped by homebuyers on its launch weekend - making it the best-performing launch this year! Located at Champions Way, Norwood Grand is also the first luxury private residential launch in Woodlands in over 12 years. Since sales commenced yesterday, 292 units have been sold. Almost all homebuyers (99.7%) are Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) from China, India and Malaysia.
