Developed by our facilities management subsidiary CBM Pte Ltd, DigiHUB is a proprietary digital monitoring platform that integrates sensors and AI to deliver real-time monitoring and checks on building infrastructure. The platform’s predictive analytics allows CBM’s engineering managers and technicians to enable condition-based interventions when the sensor data indicates a need for it. Last week, we joined our industry peers to celebrate excellence in Singapore’s property development scene at the EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Awards 2024. CDL clinched a total of 9 awards, including the prestigious Top Developer award, for the 8th consecutive year! Tembusu Grand was conferred with Design, Innovation, Marketing and Showflat Excellence, clinching a total of 4 awards. Our other winning projects include Lumina Grand, accorded with the Top Executive Condominum and Innovation Excellence awards, Sengkang Grand Residences for Sustainability Excellence and Amber Park, which claimed the Top Development award. Over the weekend, we welcomed around 1,800 visitors to the Union Square Residences Sales Gallery, which opened its doors for previews on 1 November. Prospective buyers were treated to live culinary demonstrations by Chef Roberto Galetti from Garibaldi, using the state-of-the-art MDi engineered stone induction hob by the European brand Inalco Official. All apartments will be fitted with this innovative hob. Comprising 366 units, Union Square Residences is part of Union Square, a unique and large-scale mixed development, and is distinct from the other projects launching this month. Last week, we brought together nearly 300 colleagues from City Developments Limited and our subsidiaries for an impactful Green Building, Decarbonisation & Safety (GBDS) Seminar, centred on our shared goals of safety and carbon reduction. Now in its second year, the GBDS seminar continues to drive meaningful exchange and action within the CDL Group toward a safer and greener future. The programme highlights include: • An opening address by Mr Sherman Kwek, CDL Group Chief Executive Officer underscoring CDL's commitment to environmental sustainability and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) excellence, and an inspiring presentation on safety from the perspective of the Ministry by Mr Silas Sng, Commissioner for Workplace Safety and Health at the Ministry of Manpower. • CDL’s inaugural EHS Awards, celebrating 11 outstanding winners across Ensure, Embrace, and Empower categories. The categories were inspired by the Ministry of Manpower’s 3Es campaign. We also presented the EHS Leadership Impact Award to our Group General Manager, Mr Chia Ngiang Hong for his leadership and trailblazing role in driving EHS culture across the CDL Group. • Launch of “EHS Matters”, CDL’s Open EHS Reporting App that empowers employees to share feedback, suggestions and compliments. • Engaging presentations by CDL Group’s colleagues Lee Liang Huat, Nigel Quek, Annie Abraham, Tan Kian Chuan, Jo Tan, Tedric Foo and Augustine Quek, covering topics on workplace safety, mental health, and CDL’s decarbonisation efforts. • Interactive roadshows by our partners, National Environment Agency, Singapore Civil Defence Force, and Singapore Green Building Council on dengue prevention, waste management, CPR/AED, and sustainable living. • Hands-on creative workshop conducted by The Possible Class on sustainable construction, allowing participants to immerse in the roles of an architect and green builder to balance aesthetics, efficiency, and resilience for building construction. Norwood Grand, our latest residential launch saw 84% of its 348 units snapped by homebuyers on its launch weekend - making it the best-performing launch this year! Located at Champions Way, Norwood Grand is also the first luxury private residential launch in Woodlands in over 12 years. Since sales commenced yesterday, 292 units have been sold. Almost all homebuyers (99.7%) are Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) from China, India and Malaysia. All unit types have been sold with only four-bedroom premium plus study units remaining.  Homebuyers were particularly drawn to the development’s excellent connectivity to the city centre, and how Woodlands is emerging as a vibrant area with new infrastructure like Woodlands Regional Centre, poised to be the largest economic hub in Singapore’s North region.
