Each member of our Advisory Board brings a specific expertise and valuable relationships to the group. While we continue to accelerate ChopValue’s positive, global impact through franchising, the investment in Japan has a substantial impact on our model. ChopValue Japan is determined to address up to 20 billion chopsticks disposed annually, with the opportunity to scale, automate, and launch new products tailored for the local market in Japan. Our hyperlocal operating model aligns perfectly with the Japanese concept of まちづくり (machizukuri, community building). Our mission was to showcase the potential of underutilized urban resources readily available to us, with zero trade-offs to quality or design of our end products. We are currently producing on over 100,000 square feet of production space — with the difference that this space spans across a decentralized micro-manufacturing footprint operating in 9 countries, dedicated to hyperlocal sourcing and manufacturing. With our strong foundation of a highly scalable and circular business, we take pride in empowering forward-thinking companies to accelerate their environmental impact, aligning with our shared vision of a climate-positive future through responsible manufacturing practices. From this bold vision, we've created a hard working community to drive change globally with our carbon negative wood alternative.
