You can never be too old to indulge your inner child! Earlier this week, our Exceptional People, Innovation and Corporate teams came together for the inaugural 'EPIC' Games Day over lunchtime. The nostalgic school playground games not only provided a welcome opportunity to have a great time, but also allowed our colleagues to bond and make new friends from other divisions. Join CAG and get in touch with your inner child this Children's Day! #magic #IMCAG

One little-known perk of working at CAG is membership to the Changi Airport Recreation Club (CARC) - a dedicated space for airport staff and their families to socialise and relax. Located at Terminal 2, the CARC not only offers facilities like a state-of-the-art gym, badminton courts and expansive karaoke and meeting rooms, but also organises activities and workshops for its members, covering a range of topics from personal development to financial planning, health and fitness. Many of our colleagues are regulars at CARC and meet there for events, as well as to use its facilities. We thank the CARC team for everything that they do to keep us healthy, entertained and enlightened! 💓

AI may be a revolutionary technology, but it also needs to be evaluated critically and used judiciously. To equip our staff with the necessary skills to grapple with the complexities of AI management, CAG’s very own AI Centre of Excellence, in collaboration with AI Singapore, recently organised its very first run of an in-house AI Manager course. The course provided close to 50 participants with a deeper understanding of the challenges associated with AI, and how to identify opportunities and evaluate risks through a self-developed AI Management process. It also covered the company's AI policy to raise awareness of the ethical development and deployment of AI. This AI Manager course complements other brown-bag sessions for staff on topics like Generative AI and Microsoft CoPilot – all to ensure Changi Airport is well-prepared to navigate this rapidly evolving landscape! #innovation #AI #ChangiAirport

Travellers with a layover of 7 or more hours at Changi Airport now have more options to explore Singapore. They can book the newly launched Singapore Transit Tours operated by Changi Recommends to explore iconic locales like Chinatown, Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa! The three Singapore Transit Tours are aimed at travellers who have more time to spend during their layover at Changi Airport, and offer experiences like a cruise along the Singapore River, a guided tour of Gardens by the Bay, or a cable car ride to Sentosa. Full tour details are available on the Changi App, and bookings can be made via the app, the Changi Recommends website or at physical booths at Terminals 1 to 3. Which of the three tours are you most interested in? #Singapore #ChangiAirport

Changi Airports International (CAI) recently returned from a retreat in Penang, and it was an experience to remember! As a leading global airport investor, manager, and consultant, CAI believes in building strong relationships and fostering collaboration, not just with clients but among its own people. This retreat gave colleagues the perfect opportunity to reflect on how, as strategic partners, CAI enables world-class airports to thrive with integrated solutions that are designed to meet their needs. The teams are recharged and ready to help their clients reach new heights! #ChangiAirport #ChangiAirportsInternational

Over two days in August, more than 200 of our airport staff were trained in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). This ‘Heart Heroes in Action’ event in T3 was organised in collaboration with Raffles Medical Group and Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF). Besides acquiring valuable skills in handling medical emergencies at the airport, our colleagues also picked up tips, through exercise sessions and health talks, on how to better look after their own heart health. We’re committed to equipping more airport staff with life-saving CPR and AED skills, and will be working with Singapore Heart Foundation to conduct more such training sessions over the next few months. #OneChangi #ChangiAirport

Employing digital tools was one of the ways we were able to complete the expansion of T2 more efficiently. One such technology used by our Engineering team was Building Information Modelling (BIM), which enabled them to create precise 3D digital models of the terminal’s systems for planning and collaborative work. Check out this Straits Times article to learn more about how our engineers were able to harness the power of digital construction tools like BIM! https://lnkd.in/gtsyhTea Building and Construction Authority
