CCF is honoured to be part of the Charity Governance Conference 2024, themed "Trust Matters", where our CEO Hai Ying Peng was invited as one of the panelists for the Panel Discussion: Drivers and Destroyers of Public Trust, alongside esteemed industry professionals KP Ho, Theresa Goh CK, Dr Hong Huay Lim, and Steven Chia. During the session, Haiying emphasised the pivotal role of transparency and accountability in building trust within our organisation. By providing a clear view of how resources are utilised and sharing the tangible impact of our programmes, we reinforce the value of being open and authentic in our communications. This commitment to transparency is not just a principle we uphold — it’s a promise that aligns with the conference theme of “Trust Matters,” ensuring that we continue to foster trust and confidence among our supporters and the wider community. Our colleagues also attended the conference and gained insights on how we could build trusts with our supporters. Thank you Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), Securities Investors Association (Singapore) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) for organising the conference. Celebrating Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! 💛 Our heartfelt gratitude to KKH for organising such a valuable event for organisations like CCF, and to everyone who showed their support by visiting our booth held earlier on 21 September, at Parkway Parade. Through games and freebies, participants were able to learn about the essential psychosocial support we offer to families, our impactful back-to-school programmes for cancer survivors, and more. We hope our event showcased the invaluable work CCF does in supporting children battling cancer and their loved ones. 💛 Stay tuned for more exciting events to come! #ccfsingapore #childrenscancerfoundation #GoldSeptember2024 #ChildhoodCancerChallenges

We are immensely grateful for Singapore Sogetsu Association (SSA)’s generosity and dedication towards supporting our cause, and raising funds for our children and families impacted by childhood cancer. In the month of September, SSA has started a series of fundraising events for our cause – from masterclasses centred on ikebana, to charity gala dinner and a charity exhibition. The fundraising events organised by SSA will play a crucial role in sustaining and expanding essential programmes for our beneficiaries. Their fundraising campaign ends 15 December 2024. These contributions will help us continue to provide vital services, ensuring that our children can access the psychological support they need to recover, and that their families can navigate the financial challenges without losing hope. Thank you, SSA for the remarkable efforts in bringing this series of events to life. Your dedication to our cause, and your unwavering support are deeply appreciated. It is through partnerships like these that we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. #ccfsingapore #childrenscancerfoundation

Hair for Hope 2024 – Hope is Yours to Give.💛 With a shared goal in mind, we have reunited as a community in strength to show our utmost support since the commencement of the campaign in April 2024. Across the months, there were many who have stepped forth to support this meaning cause – our satellite partners who have organised HfH 2024 in their community, our shavees who have made their bald statements, our donors who have generously contribute to support the programmes and services for children and families impacted by childhood cancer, our sponsors who have walk through a greater mile with us to spread childhood cancer awareness and our dedicated volunteers who have been helping in all ways. We are thankful for the community support to help us reach our fundraising goal of $4.8million. It takes a village to do something inspiring together and we are truly thankful for this ‘Kampong Spirit’ from all of you! Together, we have made a difference in the children’s lives. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you next year! #HairforHope #HairforHope2024 #MakeABaldStatement

Nature has the power to heal and inspire. 🍃 Based on this belief, CCF created the Raintree programme for families to immerse themselves in the peace and tranquility of nature. An arts-in-nature based programme for children with cancer and their families, this programme seeks to cultivate a sense of mindfulness and appreciation for nature. In its August instalment, families enjoyed a sensorial stroll at Jurong Lake Garden, exploring while soaking in the sights, smells and sounds. CCF is committed in building a holistic support for our beneficiaries. Through CCF’s Wellness Membership Programme, we provide a members-only gym, known as the Wellness Studio, for childhood cancer survivors aged 13 to 35 years old. As part of the programme, members receive exclusive access and the opportunity to work out with like-minded peers under the guidance of a professional trainer. In response to an interest survey conducted for our registered members, we recently held Gloves Up - an engaging workshop where our youths had a blast learning the basics of boxing. Boxing offers numerous benefits, including boosting strength, stamina, and confidence. We were delighted to see that the workshop was a success, and our beneficiaries enjoyed a fantastic workout! Motivating us to continue offering more relevant and engaging workshops to better support our beneficiaries on their journey.
