It's Day 1! Today marks the beginning of an exciting journey, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you all! 🌟 Many amazing products die simply because no one knows they exist. One of my main goals is to make sure BeeX shines brightly. 🐝✨ It is very easy for deeptech companies and engineering-led founding teams to focusing on tech, and neglect how to best communicate other aspects - how the world will change when we succeed, and our journey of many steps. And then, they "die". 😭 So, here’s the plan: I’m committing to sharing stories of growing BeeX; our challenges, and our victories right here on LinkedIn every week. I am learning, and executing. 💪 Have you ever led a marketing charge as a founder? Any tips for me? #StartupLife #FounderJourney #BeeX #Marketing #HowToSell

❓How can we detect ‘’invisible’’ objects beyond the conventional sensors of sonar and cameras, in the fastest way possible? Hint: ⚡️ + 🤖 At BeeX, we like to let our work / actions do the talking 💯📈, and that’s what this video is about. We will be exhibiting this configuration at EURONAVAL Paris (ELWAVE Booth Hall 6 H91) from the 4 - 7th Nov! Leave a comment to find out more~ 😁 #maritime #marinetechnology #euronaval2024 #HAUV #navaldefense

What does it take to inspect an underwater rock dump at a land reclamation site? 🪨 🌊 Traditionally, this would take divers two days of hard, intensive work. But what if we told you that it’s now possible in <90 minutes? 🤯 Enter A.IKANBILIS, our hovering autonomous underwater vehicle (#HAUV). It was deployed to perform a full-coverage sonar inspection of >2000 m² rock dump at a Singaporean land reclamation site. The result? A real-time, geo-referenced 2D sonar mosaic, pinpointing voids that could affect backfilling works. What excites us most isn’t just the speed – it’s the precision. The level of detail and accuracy that A.IKANBILIS delivers transforms how decisions are made underwater, helping construction teams work smarter, not harder. 🛠️💡 This case study showcases how innovation can streamline processes that were once time-consuming, labor-intensive, and costly. Curious to see how we did it? Check out the full story below 👇 https://lnkd.in/dUYzDF3w #InnovationUnderwater #MarineTechnology #LandReclamation #AUV #UnderwaterInspections

It is not true that incumbents always do better. Defense contracts do not always need to go only to established and large defense prime contractors, if the risks can be managed properly. Qualifying alternative suppliers early is one such risk mitigation strategy. BeeX is excited to sign an MOU with ELWAVE, accelerating Singapore’s ability to tap on international and commercial startups for defense innovation. Last week, we supported Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) in #FEREX2024, attempting to showcase the responsiveness and efficiency of our Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs) and software system. In an #emergency, efficiency and responsiveness are of the utmost importance. Unlike conventional underwater robots, our HAUV- A.IKANBILIS, would be able to detect and move towards the point of impact rapidly. Along with our SAMBAL Portal, the portal’s intelligence can identify and send the most important information back to shore for quick decisions to be made. #MaritimeSG #SafetyAtSea #SafetyAtSeaWeek

We were honoured to extend our expertise on autonomous vehicles and software systems to FEREX 2024, focusing on the efficiency and responsiveness of marine safety which is of upmost importance to city ports like Singapore!
As part of Singapore Safety@Sea Week 2024, #MPA conducted the annual Ferry Rescue Exercise (FEREX), simulating the collision of two domestic ferries - an electric and a diesel-powered - plying between Marina South Pier and Southern Islands. The collision resulted in severe damage to the hull of the diesel-powered ferry, which required immediate evacuation of passengers, some sustaining severe injuries from the collision. The electric ferry experienced a thermal runaway and caught fire. MPA’s ferry mishap contingency plan was activated to test the various agencies’ operational readiness to deal with a battery fire, evacuation of passengers, man overboard (MOB) drills, and medical procedures. FEREX 2024 also saw the use of aerial drones for surveillance and delivery of a life buoy to the MOB. The use of an autonomous unmanned vehicle was also tested to conduct hull inspections on the damaged ferry. In addition, some volunteers from the Safer Seas Volunteer Programme (SSVP) helped with search and rescue (SAR) efforts which MPA coordinated. Mr Murali Pillai, Minister of State, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Law, was in attendance to observe the exercise. Over 200 personnel, 12 vessels and key representatives from eight government agencies and industry partners were involved in the exercise that was held in the waters off Marina Bay Cruise Centre. #MaritimeSG #SafetyAtSea #SafetyAtSeaWeek #FEREX2024 Singapore Civil Defence Force, Singapore Police Force, Ministry of Health (Singapore), Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), Republic of Singapore Navy, Skyports Drone Services, BeeX, Singapore Island Cruise & Ferry Services Pte Ltd, Penguin International Limited, SATS-Creuers Cruise Services Aerial footages provided by Skyports
