🌱 Earlier this month, AutomationSG took a pivotal step towards a sustainable future by joining the Sustainability Alliance which was officially launched on the second day of #SMEICC. 🌱 Represented by our President, Terence Teo, AutomationSG joined seventeen other trade associations as founding members in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to solidify this commitment, with Poh-Koon Koh (Dr), Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, officiating as witness. The Sustainability Alliance will focus on: 1. SME Assistance 2. Talent Development 3. Knowledge-Building 4. Advocacy Through this alliance with other TACs, we aim to support businesses in adopting sustainable practices that are measurable, reportable, transparent, and holistic. Together, TACs can take collective action to implement essential cross-sectoral adaptation measures, seize new business opportunities, and strengthen their competitive edge during this transition. From the morning conference to the breakout tracks, the event truly showcased the power and need of automation as well as bringing the ecosystem together. Automation SolutionGO! & RINC 2024: Day 1 Key Highlights A significant milestone was achieved today with the start of Automation SolutionGO! and RINC 2024, organised by AutomationSG in partnership with Singapore Polytechnic. We were privileged to have Mr. Alvin Tan, Minister of State for the Ministry of Trade & Industry during the opening ceremony this morning as our Guest of Honour. Key highlights: • Minister of State Alvin Tan launched the inaugural edition of Automation SolutionGO! on stage together with the project committee and our Platinum Sponsors.  • Announcement of the winners of the GO! Awards 2024 where industry recognition was given for outstanding solution providers and end-users who received the GO! Innovate, GO! Sustainable and GO! Leadership award titles.  • A new partnership was established between AutomationSG, e2i, Employment & Employability Institute, NTUC U SME and Singapore Polytechnic with the signing of a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaboration is focused on advancing industry development and enhancing workforce skills.
