Hydrogen Electrolysis in the European Union

Deployment of water electrolysis capacity for hydrogen production continues to steadily grow in Europe and in the rest of the world. Europe is planning to increase its manufacturing capacity. EU competitiveness on global markets, especially for alkaline technology, is currently challenged by China. European deployment strategies will also have to consider its dependence on critical raw materials.
